Man and woman found dead in apparent murder-suicide in rural Alberta home

SUNDRE, Alta. — A man and a woman are dead in what appears to be a murder-suicide in central Alberta.

Sundre RCMP responded to a report of sudden deaths at a rural home near the town, which is about 100 kilometres northwest of Calgary.

They found a 35-year-old man and 41-year-old woman dead.

The RCMP's major crimes unit took over the investigation and investigators believe that the woman was the victim of a homicide.

They say they are not looking for any suspects and no charges are expected.
