Original Joe's Restaurant & Bar

You know it as a great place to get a delicious meal and a drink with friends, but here are some surprising things you may not know about Original Joe’s!
Original Joe’s is proud of the charitable relationships they have which allows them give back to their communities. Did you know that for each of their featured menu items you buy, Original Joe’s provides a meal to a youth in need? It’s thanks to their partnership with Mealshare that makes it easy for you to give back simply by dining out. They also donate a portion of their proceeds from every featured pint to their Community Pint Program.

Through these initiatives alone, St. Albert Original Joe’s has been able to support the local foodbank with donations in excess of $10,000 in recent years.

Original Joe’s is also obsessed with bringing you only the best cuts of quality beef. To do this, the restaurant has partnered with Sterling® Silver Premium Meats to ensure that every time you order the Steak Sandwich, you are getting the choicest cuts and highest quality available.

Sustainability is also very important to Original Joe’s. All the beef used in our delicious burgers is raised hormone and antibiotic free and harvested humanely. The same can be said for our chicken breasts. Free run, grain fed, and never sees a hormone. That’s because your health, the success of Canadian farmers, and a commitment to environmentally responsible practices matter at Original Joe’s.

Dietary choices matter too. If you are gluten-free or vegetarian, you’ll find a list of delicious menu items and the team is always willing to modify items to suit your needs.

Original Joe’s isn’t “just another restaurant.” It’s original because it puts its customers, it’s community, and its Canadian ties first. Experience the difference today.

Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf
Golf & Curling Club

Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf

Edmonton Garrison Memorial Golf and Curling Club is where golf is far more than a game. This is a public facility for golfers and non golfers alike. It’s also a place that honours the brave men and women in the military that support our nation.

The club, which is open to the public, is directed by a division of the Department of National Defense with the aim to assist in the continued development and delivery of personal support programs for the military community and the operations of the Canadian Forces. When you visit the club, you are supporting military families.

Centrally located and easily accessible for Edmontonians and those in the suburbs, 2019 sees the greens revamped and extended to nearly 7,000 yards. Whether or not you’ll be yelling “fore!” groups of all ages can enjoy the on-site curling rinks and sports lounge. Both facilities can be rented for private functions.

If the golf, curling, food and friends are not enticing enough, drop by to see the new monument – a decommissioned Leopard C2 Tank that some CFB Edmonton troops have actually operated.
Treat yourself and your family to a day on the greens and help support the brave men and women that keep the true north strong and free. Learn more at www.egmgolf.com.
