Herb Alpert, one of the world’s most iconic trumpeters, just announced additional tour dates for the Herb Alpert and Lani Hall North American Tour 2019.

They are performing at Edmonton’s Myer Horowitz Theatre on Sunday, April 12, 2020.

Alpert and his wife, Grammy Award winning vocalist Lani Hall, will perform eclectic sets from their Tijuana Brass and Brasil ’66 days. Added to the sophisticated mix are tunes from Cole Porter, the Beatles and spiraling, improvised jazz.

Backing the duo is Michael Shapiro on drums, Hussain Jiffry on bass and Bill Cantos on piano.

The concert also features a multimedia experience with a large screen projecting classic moments and rare footage from Alpert and Hall’s careers.

Back on Sept. 20, 2019, Alpert released Over the Rainbow, a 12-track featuring an original titled Skinny Dip.

Tickets for the concert go on sale Friday, Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. They are $55 to $85 plus service charges, and are available at livenation.com.
