Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia returns to the Arden Theatre to perform Eric Carle’s beloved tales of The Very Hungry Caterpillar on Saturday, March 9.

So what do a voracious baby caterpillar, a cloud that transforms itself and a bored, mixed-up chameleon have in common?

They are three unlikely friends in Eric Carle’s beloved children’s award-winning books about discovering there is value in who you are.

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia has recently adapted these picture books and created The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other E. Carle Favourites. Two
