Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia has recently adapted these picture books and created The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other E. Carle Favourites.Two
shows are booked to run Saturday, March 9, at the Arden Theatre.
Mermaid Theatre’s specialty is a signature blend of blacklight theatre, striking puppetry, evocative music and gentle storytelling.
Adapted, designed and directed by Jim Morrow with music by Steven Naylor, the one-hour production is narrated by Gordon Pinsent.
Recommended ages are three to eight years. Showtimes are 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. The 11 a.m. performance is relaxed and sensory friendly. Sensory aids are available.
