Cape Breton’s Port Cities will not be performing at the Arden Theatre on Saturday, March 14 as originally scheduled.
According to the trio’s website, vocalist Breagh MacKennon is “moving on to pursue new creative opportunities.”
In a statement, she writes, “Over the past five years I've had so many incredible experiences working with Port Cities. The music we made together will forever be something I am proud of. Carleton [Stone] and Dylan [Guthro] are two of the most talented people that I have had the opportunity to work with and I truly hope that our paths will cross in collaboration again in the future.”
Although Port Cities’ spring tour to promote their sophomore album is on hold, Arden Theatre personnel are working to reschedule a performance for next season.
Full refunds are available to ticketholders. Ticketmaster purchases will receive an automatic refund from the agency. Arden Theatre box office tickets will be refunded in person or over the phone at 780-459-1542.
