Dear Mom and Dad in Heaven
You’re in my thoughts
And in my heart
Each day throughout the year.
But as Christmas Day draws closer
I can’t help but shed some tears.
They are because of treasured memories
Of precious Christmases past.
The love, the joy and traditions
And how time can go so fast.
Your candle is by your pictures
The lights are on your tree.
These are some of the new traditions
That keep you close to me.
We will speak of you on Christmas Day
And keep your memory close
And celebrate the love within our hearts of those we’ve loved the most.
Heaven has a new Angel this Christmas, please keep him in your care.
