As a recent patient at the Sturgeon Community Hospital, I wish to express my gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful care I received during that week.
I was impressed with the personal care given while I stayed more than 24 hours in emergency and then by the staff when I was admitted. I was attended to by paramedics, doctors, nurses, physio and occupational therapists, a dietician, support staff and appreciated so much their caring attitude, skill, patience. They were dealing with challenging situations exasperated by the COVID-19 health pandemic.
We are so privileged to have such wonderful care available to us at our local hospital, and as a retired nurse in need of care, the staff became my heroes and I want to thank them.
