On a recent day, I went to my super mailbox to pick up my mail, and lo and behold, two laser radar tickets were waiting for me — one from a school zone by Paul Kane, and granted I should have known better, and the other on Bellerose Drive's 50-kilometre zone.
I don’t mind paying a fine and I‘m not a speed freak, but combined these two tickets were $390.
I’m a senior on a fixed income of $1,800 a month. No groceries this month, I guess. What a joke. I’m sick of this cash cow in Alberta. Let’s make fines more reasonable in this province.
