If you’re looking for something new to stream, as you are stuck at home to flatten the curve on COVID-19, or even if you just need something free to stream – you’re in luck because the National Film Board of Canada (NFB) has 4,000 free titles.

NFB has a vast selection of short and feature-length films.

Another plus is that they have a lot of animation, documentaries and educational content for kids.

If you want to deep-dive into Canadian films or just find something a little different to watch as you and your family self-isolate NFB is definitely an option.

Anyone remember this gem?

Since its founding in 1939, the NFB has created over 13,000 productions and won over 5,000 awards, including 18 Canadian Screen Awards, 12 Oscars, 17 Webbys and more than 90 Genies.

You can find films on NFB’s website and it also has an app for mobile devices and smart TVs.
