In continuing its support of ArtWalk, the library will now have new monthly rotating exhibits of work by artists from the St. Albert Painters’ Guild. April’s exhibit features works by Al Anderson. Until Tuesday, April 30.

Dyscorpia: Future Intersections of the Body and Technology runs from April 23 to May 12 at Enterprise Square, 10230 Jasper Ave. in Edmonton. It features artists and thinkers in visual art, design, contemporary dance, medical and digital humanities, virtual reality, sound creation, philosophy, computer science, and creative writing. Participating artists include Brad Necyk and Daniel Evans. Opening reception to take place on Saturday, April 27, from 6 to 9 p.m. Artists will be in attendance. www.dyscorpia.com

Alive is the St. Albert Painters’ Guild’s upcoming spring show and sale. It runs from April 26 to 28 with an opening reception in the rotunda of St. Albert Place on Friday, April 26, from 7 to 9 p.m. Artists will be in attendance. paintersguild.wildapricot.org

The Indigenous Artist Market Collective offers authentic, locally handcrafted works by three or four Indigenous artists at its booth every Saturday at the Edmonton Downtown Farmers Market, which has moved from its summer outdoor setting to inside Edmonton City Hall (on the north side of Churchill Square) every Saturday until May 11. Recent feature artists included Jeannette Sommers, Krista Leddy and Darlene Logan. The market runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Saturday. www.city-market.ca
