Winners list: 1st place to Jori Warren - Pocket Change; 2nd place to Hilda Valdes - Cherries Tequila; 3rd place to Judy Schafers - Sunshine Laughter; and honourable mentions for Anne McCartney - At Home; Cindy McLaren - Smoke on the Water; and Cindy Revell - Singing Their Joys. 5 Artists 1 Love is an annual Black History Month event that marks its 15th year of celebrating the vibrancy of African Canadian Communities through artistic community engagement. A three-piece webisode series titled Retrospective was recently launched.

Black Every Day is the art exhibition component featuring artists AJA Louden, Braxton Santiago-Garneau, Keon Courtney, Fetsum Teclemariam, jay Dontae, Ash Shumba, Shaihiem Small, Raneece Buddan, Kanyamashokoro César (Shoko), Richard Lipscombe, Hollee McKerchar, Emily Schouten, Trevor ‘CURLY’ Peters, Lisa Mayes, and Judy Robinson.
