Body Language: Reawakening Cultural Tattooing of the Northwest is an exhibition from the Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art. It is guest curated by Dion Kaszas and features works by Nakkita Trimble (Nisga’a), Nahaan (Tlingit), Corey Bulpitt (Haida), and Dean Hunt (Heiltsuk). Until May 16.
The third Speaker Series event brings Dawn Marie Marchand and Keith Callihoo to talk about Cultural Appropriation. This free event starts at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10.

'sahkitok mistahi ᓴᐦᑭᑐᐠ ᒥᐢᑕᐦᐃ' explores love, kindness and generosity through language in times of displacement, isolation and loneliness. Using Language as a method to extend care to one another through messages and songs while investigating the intimate relationship between words and community. Each work offers the community a chance to join in dialogue with the artists, regardless of fluency of traditional languages. Audience members are encouraged to share notes of care, serving as a reminder to extend love across our community during the hard times we all face collectively.
