Carla Beerens: A Retrospective Exhibition features works by the late VASA artist Carla Beerens. Opening reception from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2. Greg Beerens will be in attendance to say a few words and offer an introduction. Until Saturday, Oct. 2.

Art Gallery of St. Albert

Drawn Home is the massive new exhibit featuring works by members of the Visual Artists Studio Association, the St. Albert Photography Club, and the Big Lake Artists' Studios. Virtual exhibition tour takes place at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3. An in-person exhibition tour will take place at noon on Friday, Sept. 10. Until Friday, Sept. 18.

The Staircase Gallery will feature the exhibition called Through the Tide by Diana Ohiozebau. A virtual exhibition tour will take place at noon on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

DY3CORPIA

DY3CORPIA is the third iteration of Dyscorpia: Future Intersections of the Body and Questions. It is being held virtually, hosted in a digital twin of Enterprise Square Galleries, where the first DYSCORPIA exhibition was mounted in 2019. Visit dyscorpia.com/dy3corpia to view work by St. Albert intermedia artist Brad Necyk, and filmmaker, cinematographer, and multimedia artist aAron Munson, among many others.

Mosaic

The Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services at the University of Alberta is hosting a virtual exhibit in celebration of Pride 2021. The show features 2SLGBTQ+ artists from Greater Edmonton who created "a mosaic that encapsulates the beauty and individuality that lies within each of us," as well as the collective strength they hold as members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Featured among the artists is local Dehcho Dene artist Coral Madge, who makes traditional beaded works under the name Big Bear Moccasins. Events

Mural Massive is a weekend of murals, music, entertainment, drinks, and an underground art auction. It takes place Sept. 10 to 12 and features St. Albert Goop of 7 artist Peter Gegolick among others. Tickets are $25. 10019 81 Ave. in Edmonton. grindstonetheatre.ca/mural-massive
