Angela Wood in lead in St. Albert after three polling stations report

Wood currently has 3,035 votes with incumbent mayor Cathy Heron trailing closely behind with 2,924 votes.

Newcomer St. Albert mayoral candidate Angela Wood is in the lead after three out of eight polling stations are reporting. 

Wood currently has 3,035 votes, with incumbent mayor Cathy Heron trailing closely behind with 2,924 votes. Bob Russell is pulling in 854 votes, and David Letourneau is sitting at 1,014 votes. 

As for council candidates, incumbent Sheena Hughes, incumbent Ken Mackay, newcomer Mike Killick, incumbent Wes Brodhead, newcomer Shelly Biermanski, and incumbent Natalie Joly are currently leading the pack for council seats. 

Three polling stations represent 25 per cent of the votes in the city. The city will continue to report results as they come in.
