Sturgeon County resident Curtis Troy Sear has been granted bail on charges of possessing stolen property over $5,000 and several firearms offences.
Sear was charged in July after Morinville RCMP conducted a search of two rural properties. The investigation yielded $380,000 worth of stolen property, including sea cans, industrial chemicals, high-end vehicles, ATVs and trailers, among others.
Sear will next appear in court on Aug. 20.
Sear is co-accused with Jonathan Borle, who also faces charges of possessing stolen property over $5,000, firearms offences and breach of probation. According to a July 25 press release from RCMP, a warrant was issued for Borle's arrest.
