Bonnyville RCMP Media Release
On March 26, 2019 Bonnyville RCMP initiated an investigation into allegations of sexual assault by a massage therapist in Bonnyville.
A victim alleged she attended a business for a massage and during the treatment she was touched in a sexual manner. While investigating police learned of a second female victim who alleged she was touched in a similar manner.
Bonnyville RCMP have charged Jason Traxler (49) of Bonnyville of sexual assault (x2). He was released after his arrest and is set to appear in Bonnyville Provincial Court on Sept. 3, 2019.
The Massage Therapist Association of Alberta has suspended his membership as a result of these allegations.
As this matter is now before the courts no further information will be released.
