Morinville RCMP looking for catalytic converter thief

Theft happened in seven-minute window on Dec. 2

Morinville RCMP are asking for public help following the theft of an expensive car part from Morinville Community High School.

Police say someone stole a catalytic converter from a student's vehicle in broad daylight on Dec. 2 sometime between 12:30 and 12:37 p.m.

The suspect drove an older model Nissan Titan, grey in colour, with a chrome push bar, chrome accented side mirrors, door handles and what appeared to be dark coloured side steps.

The suspect entered the high school's parking lot, parked beside a student's vehicle and stole the converter.
