Bosley, golden retriever cross, nine months

Hi everyone! My name is Bosley and I am a young golden retriever-Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever mix looking for just the right home. I am not a dog for everybody right now. I am a dog for somebody who can begin the training that should have started when I was a little puppy. I have been allowed to get into some very bad habits like running off with laundry if I'm bored, jumping on the cat and jumping up at folks and mouthing their hands, all good puppy stuff which should have been trained out of me months ago. But I guess my previous owners, who didn't come looking for me when I ended up at the pound, just didn't know how to cope with my puppy antics. I am very affectionate and extremely smart. I am also extremely naughty and get into mischief at the slightest opportunity. I'm like the naughty Disney dog in all the movies! Well, if you are still reading this, you are either a glutton for punishment or you are like my foster mom and can see what great potential lies beneath this untrained puppy exterior! In the right hands and with some consistent direction and lots of patience, I can become the greatest dog ever. Now that you've heard all the not-so-good things about me, here are my positive attributes — I have a wonderful temperament — there isn’t a mean bone in my body. I get along great with other dogs and love to play. I am not dominant by nature and listen to other dogs' correction if I get too boisterous. I am housetrained and I will go in a crate if I have to (and I do have to). At my foster home I sleep quietly all night in my crate. I follow my foster mom around which she says is good because she wants to keep an eye on me at all times! When she is working on the computer I will lie by her feet and snooze. So you see I'm not all bad, I just need the right home and somebody who wants to take on the challenge of turning me from mischievous puppy into fabulous adult. I am good off-leash and come when I'm called. So if you think the positives outweigh the negatives, please call NASAP and ask about Bosley. I'm ready to start my new life.

Lorie Mae, DSH, four months

Hello, my name is Lori Mae and I’m a personable and friendly little girl who was unclaimed at the pound. I was found outside but I survived well other than being a little bit skinny. I have a beautiful shiny black coat with white socks and chest. I love to lay in your lap for attention and then I’m off in a flash to pounce on my toy mouse or ball … I am a kitten after all! I’m about four months old and am very adaptable and settle in to new situations very quickly. I think I would be good with other friendly cats, dogs or respectful children in a new home. I don’t mean to brag, but my foster home says I’m so sweet. I can’t wait for my new forever home! Lori Mae's NASAP adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, de-worming, FIV/feline leukemia testing, microchip and a post-adoption health check-up. Please inquire about adopting Lori Mae!
