Hello, my name is Dora! I’m a sweet little two-year-old spayed female cat. I have a black coat with three patches of white on my chest and tummy. When the folks at NASAP first met me at the pound last winter, I was so small that they thought I was a six-month-old kitten! I have really blossomed in my foster home. I have gained weight and the fur that I was missing from malnutrition has all grown back. I am now happy and completely healthy. The only thing missing from my life is a loving forever home. I’ll tell you a bit about myself: I’m very sweet and quiet and I purr softly all the time. I greet visitors at the door and I just want to be close to people. If you move to another room I will follow and curl up on a nearby chair to watch what you are doing. I like sleeping on the bed at night but I won’t disturb you or make a sound. I like my playtime and I am not destructive at all in the house. I am very good about using my scratching post and litter-box. One thing is a must — I must find a forever home where I am the only cat. I would be happiest as the only pet in a quiet, adult-only home. I would love to have people that will watch over me so that I never end up alone on the streets again. I will repay you with love and devotion for many years to come! Dora’s NASAP adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, FIV/Feline leukemia testing, microchip, tattoo, deworming and a post-adoption health check-up. Please inquire about adopting Dora!
I am a very friendly and affectionate eight- or nine-month-old female German shepherd-cross. I will be going to the vet clinic to be spayed soon. I have settled down very well in my foster home and am getting along great with my foster brothers and sister. I love the company of other dogs and am very respectful. I am housetrained and a very good girl in my crate. I sleep in there at night and during the day if my foster mom has to go out. I need a new owner who is prepared to give me regular exercise because I am very active and love to be on the go. Ideally I will need off-leash exercise every day. I am very fast and very agile and would do great in obedience classes or agility. I know how to calm down when necessary and will lie beside my foster mom as she works on the computer. During my short life I have not always been treated kindly and I am a little suspicious of strangers. I might bark at people I don't know at first but give me 30 seconds and I'll be their best friend, giving kisses and rolling over for tummy rubs So if you think that you and I would make a great team and if you have the time to spend with me, please call NASAP and give me a chance. To see for yourself, come meet me. You can call NASAP at 780-922-0250 or go online to www.nasap.ca and click on the Adopt Me link underneath my picture.
