A program designed to help female entrepreneurs is now open for applications for fall 2019.

PeerSpark is a business accelerator program offered by Alberta Women Entrepreneurs. The program offers business coaching from other women entrepreneurs, providing a safe and supportive environment to help grow your business.

Along with encouragement and support, the program offers access to resources and multi-disciplinary learning. Women entrepreneurs will learn the nuts and bolts of running their business so they can confidently make business decisions.

If interested, applicants must have a drive to grow both the business and its profitability, have one employee besides themselves, bring in a minimum of $150,000 in annual revenue, the business must be older than two years and owners must be willing to learn from others and meet program deadlines.

The 10-month program started in 2012 as a way to bring together like-minded female entrepreneurs who wanted to grow their business. At each meeting a business expert will discuss a certain topic.

Owners at the meeting will learn skills on growing their business and will also be able to build relationships and peer mentor each other.
