The St. Albert RCMP detachment is asking the public to avoid the Northwest quadrant of St. Albert, between Giroux Road & Ray Gibbon Road, due to an unfolding event.
On May 27 at around 3:00 p.m. the St. Albert RCMP sent out a press release stating pedestrian traffic will be rerouted and there will be a heavy police presence in the area until the matter is resolved.
“There are no public safety issues at this time; however, should this incident prolong, it may interrupt activity in and around the area,” said the release.
“No other information will be provided at this time.”
