The St. Albert RCMP has charged two residents with drug offences.

The St. Albert RCMP Drug Unit concluded a drug trafficking investigation on Jan. 9, which resulted in officers searching a St. Albert residence. Officers seized more than a half-ounce of soft cocaine, more than a pound of illicit cannabis, drug paraphernalia and pepper spray.

Jordan Anderson, 31, and Katrina Anderson, 35, both from St. Albert, have been charged with drug offences. A list of charges was not released by RCMP. Both had their first court appearance on Feb. 10 in St. Albert provincial court.

The St. Albert RCMP has a drug tip line, 780-460-3784, where members of the community can call anonymously to report information related to suspected drug trafficking.

If anyone has information regarding any crime, they are asked to contact the St. Albert RCMP Detachment at 780-458-7700 or their local police.  If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com or by using the "P3 Tips" app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
