Updated 3:23 p.m. RCMP Alberta has tweeted that Marissa Jackson has been located.

Original Story: St. Albert RCMP are looking for assistance to help locate Marissa Jackson, 19, of St. Albert.

Jackson was last in contact with her parents at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, when she walked away from her home, according to a release by St. Albert RCMP.

"She has not made contact with her parents since that time," the release says. "It is not known if she left St. Albert or who, if anyone, she walked away with."

Marissa is described as:

  • Caucasian female, age 19
  • approximately 5'9" tall and about 130 to 140 pounds
  • strawberry blond hair - often worn up in a bun
  • last seen wearing grey / black sweater and
  • light brown ripped up cotton pants.
