Students from Elmer S. Gish Elementary School ran, biked and swam their way to the finish line Wednesday during the school's triathlon event.
Hundreds of students spent parts of the day competing good-naturedly against each other in an effort to come out on top.
The triathlon included morning and early afternoon sessions, with older kids participating in the morning and younger ones participating in the afternoon.
