Are you available April 16 to 18 to assist with the St. Albert trade show? Have some fun and meet some dynamic new people. Shifts are flexible to fit your schedule.

Do you have some time to share each week with an individual in need of some companionship? Share your gift of listening and good conversation as you visit the client at home. Choose from one of the following one-on-one opportunities — visiting with an adult individual who emigrated from Egypt, reading to her, teaching her new board games and doing simple crafts — client speaks English well. The other opportunity is visiting with a housebound senior helping her bake, as well as helping with needlework and knitting.

Are you patient, compassionate and reliable? Volunteer needed in the Morinville area to drive two clients to a community day program once or twice a week on an ongoing basis. Program is on Monday and Thursday, drop-off and pick-up is at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. You must have your own vehicle and be able to transport a walker or wheelchair into the vehicle.

Join the team that walks/rides with pride and purpose. Citizens’ Patrol, in partnership with the RCMP, is recruiting volunteers to help deter criminal activity in our community.
