While some Stanley Cup winners bring the Cup home with great fanfare, St. Albert's Colton Parayko, defenseman for the St. Louis Blues, opted for a more private celebration.

The Cup's summer tour started Tuesday in Calahoo with Craig Berube before making its way to the St. Albert area Wednesday.

No schedule of events was released for Wednesday. Parayko brought the Cup to the Stollery in Edmonton, and made a stop at the Brick Invitational Hockey Tournament at West Edmonton Mall to the delight of young players.

He was spotted in Akinsdale with the Cup as he visited family. He is expected to be in St. Albert for a private event as well.
