The Miners (5-1, 66 GF/41 GA) and Knights (4-2, 44 GF/39 GA) are the top teams in the senior B division.
The Miners are undefeated in five games, including four in a row during a six-game homestand.

The kick-off times for the doubleheader in Leduc against the LA Crude are 2 p.m. in the ERU division three men’s season opener and 4 p.m. for the Alberta Cup premier men. Both premier teams are 0-1.
Friday’s score between SARFC (2-1) and Strathcona Druids (1-2) in the Alberta premier women’s division was unavailable at press time.
Meanwhile, the Greater Edmonton Junior High Flag Rugby League playoffs wrap up today at Ellerslie Rugby Park and the Lorne Akins Gators are the defending male and female division one champions.
Crude lacrosse
The St. Albert Crude has home-floor advantage today in the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League.
The junior B Tier I game against the Saskatchewan SWAT starts at 5:30 p.m. at Akinsdale Arena.
The Crude and Fort Saskatchewan Rebels are the north division leaders at 6-3 and the SWAT (7-2) is first in the east standings.
The Crude are 4-1 in the last five games and the team’s home record is 1-2.
Dawg Bowl VIII
The eighth annual Dawg Bowl for the Bellerose Bulldogs kicks off Tuesday at Larry Olexiuk Field.
The intersquad game between Team Cardinal and Team White begins at 5 p.m.
Team White is seeking a fifth-straight victory to close out the Bellerose football spring camp.
Simpson triathlon
The 28th annual Sir George Simpson Triathlon is good to go Wednesday.
The first wave of swimmers start at 10:15 a.m. at Grosvenor pool.
Last year’s event featured 260 participants and 35 marshals/volunteers as students swam between 100 and 150 metres depending on the grade level, biked about 1.2 kilometres and ran about 1.3 km.
