The St. Albert Roadrunners and Triathlon Club has started processing entries for the 25th annual 10-mile road race April 18.
Registration fees are $45 online through www.eventsonline.ca, $55 mailed in or dropped off at Cranky’s Bike Shop or the Sturgeon Valley Athletic Club (SVAC) and $65 on race day.
Forms can be picked up at the Tech Shop, Kinsmen Sports Centre, the Running Room, Cranky’s, SVAC and all race sponsors.

As of Thursday morning, 61 runners had signed up online or by mail.
The course record for runners is 976 in 1998.
Last year, out of 730 runners registered, 651 finished the race. The winner was Brian Torrance in 54 minutes and 25 seconds. The fastest female was Tara Struyk in 1:01:32.
Quarterback Mike Spagnolo of the St. Albert High Skyhawks and Bellerose Bulldogs’ linebackers Cody Andresen and Jordan Schapansky earned invites to attend the Team Alberta tryout camp May 7 to 9 at Foote Field.
Skyhawks’ linebacker Tanner Doll was also one of five conditional invitees injured at the time of the testing but will be allowed to continue pending recovery and future testing.
Doll and Spagnolo were the 2009 co-rookies of the year for the senior Skyhawks.
Andresen was the defensive player of the year for the senior Bulldogs in 2009 and Schapansky was the team’s unsung hero.
