The oldest participant at the Alberta 55 Plus Winter Games was a repeat winner of the Wild Rose Award for longevity.

More than 1,000 athletes are in St. Albert this weekend to participate in the 2011 Alberta 55 Plus Winter Games. The games features 13 competitions in activities like hockey, curling, shuffle board, Scrabble, darts and euchre.
