Plomp shines at provincials

The numbers added up to a winning performance by Graham Plomp at provincials in St. Albert. The national youth competitor with the host Dynamyx Gymnastics Club qualified for the Canadian championships by placing third all-around at 67.

Strong turnout for 10-miler

The 25th anniversary celebration of the St. Albert 10-Mile Road Race was a smashing success. “It was just amazing,” said race director Dave Wilson with the St. Albert Roadrunners and Triathlon Club.

The 2010 Artistic Gymnastics Provincial Championships/Trials to Canadians continues this weekend at Servus Credit Union Place. The competition started Friday morning, and goes today from 9:05 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
