Tip-off is 4:45 p.m. today between the St. Albert Skyhawks and Bellerose Bulldogs at the Home of the Hounds.

The only team to score more than a pair of goals against the Notre Dame Hounds’ tournament winners this past weekend was the St. Albert Slash.

Jasper Place High School – The St. Albert Skyhawks settled for fourth place at the REB Invitational Basketball Tournament after falling short in Saturday’s playoff against the O’Leary Spartans.

The St. Albert Raiders wrapped up a four game road swing with a disappointing 1-1-2 record against south division teams in the Alberta Midget AAA Hockey League.

The St. Albert Steel’s annual teddy bear toss is Sunday against the Calgary Canucks. Game time is 2:30 p.m. at Performance Arena. Fans are encouraged to bring a stuffed animal and throw it to the ice after the Steel’s first goal.

Seven different players scored for the St. Albert Sabres in Wednesday’s 8-0 shutout of the Camrose Kodiaks at Akinsdale Arena. Jake Mykitiuk led the way with a pair, including the opening goal at the 8:13 mark.

The St. Albert Raiders are back on the road this weekend as they face off against the south division Red Deer Rebels and Calgary Royals.
