Karl Patrick Anderson was born on June 26th, 1967 to Colleen Hall in the city of Calgary, Alberta. Colleen met and married Eric ‘Patrick’ Anderson in approximately 1969 who later adopted him.
Karl was the eldest of four children (James, Audry, Troy). Karl grew up in St. Albert, Alberta, where he eventually met his future wife and mother of his two children, Tracy Murray. Tracy and Karl were together for 7 years prior to getting married on April 14th, 1990. Karl had his first child just a few months later, Joseph Robert Anderson, followed by the addition of his second child, Jasmine Eileen Anderson, in 1991.
Karl attended Paul Kane high school and had a successful career in the gaming industry that spanned for several decades.
Karl was predeceased by his younger brother, James, in 1999 following a short battle with ewing sarcoma; by his mother Colleen after a battle with breast cancer in 2005, and his adoptive father in 2014.
Karl died suddenly and will be greatly missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
