1935 – 2021
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Michael T. Balaski; husband, father, grandfather & Gido announce his passing on December 6, 2021.
Michael was a devoted Catholic, well educated, professional man who was dedicated to keeping himself active and bestowed his desire for learning on all who knew him. His continued aspiration for running marathons, tinkering in any and all home repairs, and ensuring everyone got a taste of his witty jokes will live on within his loved ones.
Michael was predeceased by his grandsons Tyler S. and Joshua H., his son-in-law Terry M., his parents Thomas and Helen, and his siblings. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dianne; children Michelle, Jackie (Edward), Shawn (Tamara), Monica, Christa (Miro), his 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren as well as his extended family and friends.
A private family service will be held on December 17, 2021 at 1p.m. at the St. Albert Catholic Parish. This service will be available through a livestream at: https://youtu.be/VPpc24xgsjk
A Celebration of his Life and Interment will take place in June 2022.
