BELLIVEAU, Krista Dawn

Leaving us with hearts full of fond memories, our beautiful Krista Dawn Belliveau gracefully and courageously took her final flight on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

Born of strong will and fashion sense, February 4, 1974 in Oromocto, NB, Krista did her best to curate a life of fabulous and fun for herself along with the greatest loves of her life, daughters Mykelti and Lauren Langer, who have most definitely inherited their Mother’s “joie de vie.”

Krista moved to Alberta in her teen years and quickly accumulated a large friend base, with many becoming her lifelong soul family. She was also a diligent worker and she thoroughly enjoyed her career and colleagues at AGLC. Our beautiful butterfly loved creating and sharing good food around her table and she adored traveling; imagining wonderful adventures as she sought out to see the world one Airbnb at a time!

Krista truly was the salt of the earth. Kind, caring and nurturing her heart was and she shared it generously, ensuring everyone felt acknowledged and appreciated. She had a sparkle that was contagious and had a way of making you feel instantly at ease. May we always remember her magical little giggle, spirited sense of humour and the flair she brought into our lives.

Along with her afore-mentioned daughters, Krista will be so deeply missed by her mother, Joanne; step-father, Brian Spencer; father, Russell Belliveau (Sheryl Modin); brother, Kyle Belliveau (Mallory Ellis). Countless aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also grieve the loss of our Miss Sunshine.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for September 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Kinsmen Club of St. Albert. We ask that guests bring a mask and respect local bylaws around pandemic protocols.

In lieu of flowers, we hope that you consider a donation in Krista’s name to the University Hospital Foundation, 8440 112 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T6G 2B7 or a charity of your choosing where you feel you can make a difference.
