He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Rose Bertrand and brother Louis.

Leo was born in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan in 1933. He moved to Edmonton when he

entered grade 12. Shortly after high school he joined the Navy for five years. In 1954 he married Fran Brown and they enjoyed more than 66 years together. Leo lived life to the fullest. He loved to travel all over the world with Fran and friends. Sports were a big part of Leo’s life, whether he was participating or watching. His biggest joy came from

spending time with his grandchildren. He made them all feel very special and always

found time to attend their sports events and performances.
