1932 – 2021
On August 7, 2021 Dolores Leonora Boehm of St. Albert, AB passed away at the age of 88 after a lengthy battle with Dementia.
Dolores is survived by her four children: Sharon Tarves, Donna (Jeff) Tillapaugh, Diana (Tom) Hunt, and Patrick (Leona) Boehm; four grandchildren: Bryce (Ashley) Tarves, Brianna (Jared) Hamm, Andrea (Mark) Mallon, and Cage (Melissa) Boehm, as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dolores was predeceased by her husband Al Boehm in 2005.
Dolores was an amazing stay at home mom who not only took great care of her children and dogs but also both her mom and mother-in-law as they aged. She really did instil a great sense of humour in all of us and just a bit of fear “just wait till your father gets home!”.
Special thanks to the Palliative Unit 9Y at the Edmonton General Hospital, St. Albert Home Care, Sabrina & Erin; PCN geriatric team Dr. Stickney-Lee, Charlotte, Dr. Peter Chung and Nurse Next Door, Lisa - without all of you we would not have been able to keep her in her home for as long as we did.
Due to current precautions, there will be no service at this time, a Celebration of life may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to any palliative care unit of your choice.
