It is with great sadness that the family of Raymond Armand Boutin announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at the age of 78.

 

Raymond was born in Domremy, Saskatchewan on September 15, 1942. He moved to Mallaig, Alberta in 1968 to teach and later became Principal of Mallaig School. He and his wife, Jeanne retired and relocated to St. Albert in 2012. 

 

Raymond will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 49 years, Jeanne; children, Richard, Réjean (Heidi), Robert (Rosanne), Nathalie; grandchildren, Benjamin, Spencer, Justin, Jonah, Julia, Amélia, Ariana; brother and sisters; Lucille, Albert (Theresa), Thérèse; mother-in-law, Annette Amyotte as well as numerous in laws, nephews, nieces, family and friends.

 

Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Eugène and Angélina (nee: Blier); brother, Gérard; and father-in-law, Léo Amyotte.

 

A special thanks to Dr. Jon Hilner, Alison Phillips and her team at the Palliative Homecare and Care Aid team.

 

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB, T6H 5G8.

 

 

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Private Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., at St. Albert Catholic Church, to view a livestream of the Mass and to send condolences, please visit www.connelly-mckinley.com.
