It is with profound sadness that the family of Cecile Choquette announce her peaceful passing on Friday, November 18 at the age of 91 years.
Cecile is survived by her children, Georgette D’Aoust, Jacqueline Lavoie, Bernice (Warren) Bergstrom, Robert D’Aoust, Claude (Jenny) D’Aoust, and Irene (Eric) Brenneis; 12 grandchildren, Michael Wing, Adam (Bahareh) Wing, Duane (Twyla) Bergstrom, Melissa (Chad) Smith, Alana (Nicholas) Johnson, Bethany (Stephen) Smith, April (Michael) Donauer, Julia (Matt) Price, Geoff (Shyla) D’Aoust, Curtis (Diana) Brenneis, Megan Brenneis and Travis (Sarah) Brenneis; 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by all of her siblings, and her special cousins, Fred and Vida Lalonde; and her closest friend Marie Berg.
Mom will be remembered for her love for her children and grandchildren, and her passion for flower gardening. Her favorite pastimes were gin rummy and sodoku. Mom was a homebody and loved being in her home.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 25 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Emile Catholic Parish, Legal. Interment in Saint Jean Baptiste Catholic Cemetery, Morinville.
