On November 20, 2019, Estelle Graham passed away at the age of 90. She is survived by her eldest sister Joyce Lee (Gordon (deceased)) and children Reid Graham (Lisa Sabiston), former daughter-in-law Kathy Graham, Rodger Graham (Patricia), and Rhonda Primmer (Lance) as well as grandchildren Erin Graham (Greg Workun), Jocelyn Graham (Kudjo Fiakpui), Amy Mijajlovic (Aleks), Emily Graham, Rachel Roy (Brad), Katie Roy (Mark), Matthew, and Bradley (Nicole). Estelle is also survived by her great grandchildren Aliyah, Lucy, Danica, Cara, Benjamin, and Silas. Estelle was predeceased in death by her parents Ernest and Isabella Forsman, by her first husband Walter and siblings Yvonne Brown (Barry) and Rodger Forsman (Lois).

Estelle was born in Strasbourg, SK on February 28, 1929. In 1957 she married Walter Graham and together they had three children: Reid, Rodger, and Rhonda. When Wally retired from Greyhound Bus Lines they moved from Edmonton to their beloved cottage on Moose Lake, AB. Wally passed away in 1998 and Estelle was remarried at the age of 82 to Everett Anderson.

Estelle was a devoted wife and mother and an active church member of Braemar Baptist in Edmonton, Glendon United in Glendon, AB, and Sturgeon Valley Church in St. Albert. Over the years she enjoyed being in the choir, attending Bible studies, teaching Sunday School, and playing the piano. She was an excellent cook and often entertained family and friends. Her wit, friendliness, and astonishing memory for faces made her a real people person. She loved children and they loved her too.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Saint Albert Retirement Residence and Foyer Lacombe Covenant Care in St. Albert for taking such good care of Estelle. We would also like to express our appreciation for all those friends who visited faithfully right up to the end.

A memorial service to celebrate Estelle’s life will be held at Sturgeon Valley Baptist Church, 51 Woodlands Road, St. Albert, AB on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.

Memorial donations can be made directly to Foyer Lacombe Covenant Care in St. Albert in lieu of flowers in Estelle’s honour.
