We are sad to share the passing of Peggy (Margaret) Fairfield. A vivacious spirit, she was a cheerleader

for the Edmonton Eskimos and a talented figure skating professional. A skilled X-ray professional, she

worked at the Camsell and Royal Alexandra Hospitals. In her career, as in all aspects of her life, Peggy

was known to be friendly, warm and caring.

She was a committed volunteer and causes included the “Candy Stripers”, Big Lake Environment

Support Society (BLESS), Youville Home and Stop Abuse in Families. She married the love of her

life, Finlay Fairfield in 1963 and they raised five children in a loving home full of music, friends, and

family. She and Fin enjoyed their final years in Sidney, BC.

She is mourned by her children: Tony (Deanne), P.J. (Brian), Hugh (Lorraine) and Terry (Jason); seven grandchildren: Brendan, Alyson (Jose), Aimee, Kyla and Erica Fairfield and Nicholas and Cole Fairfield-Carter; sister, Maureen (Gerry) and brother Tom (Marge). Peggy was predeceased by her beloved son, Finlay Robert, husband, Finlay Munro, and sister, Jackie. She will be deeply missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Avenue on Saturday, October 22 at 11:30 am.
