1960 - 2021
On September 13, 2021, our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend Thomas Michael Feehan “Tom/Tombo” of St. Albert, Alberta passed away unexpectedly at the age of 61.
Tom will forever be remembered by his loving wife, Cammy; their two sons, Matthew (Brianne) and Conor (Madi); his mother, Teresa; brothers: Dan, Mark (Carolyn), Tim (Karen), Gerry (Florence), Patrick (Brenda) and twin brother, Matthew (Carolyn); his in laws, Johnny and Donna Gaidica, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Ned Feehan in June 1986.
Tom began his teaching career with Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools 28 years ago and spent his entire career at St. Albert High School in Room 103. It was his second home. He loved his students and invited them to feel as comfortable in that space as he was.
Tom loved his family more than anything. He also had a passion for learning (acquiring four degrees: B. A, B. Ed, G.D.R.E, M.R.E.), coaching numerous teams, heading out to the cabin, and finding humour in everyday activities to connect with people and make them feel at ease. Tom also enjoyed travelling with family as well as mission and school trips (even managing to teach some history lessons wherever the opportunity arose).
Tom was a teacher, coach, mentor, and friend to many. We know that all who knew him share our emptiness by his sudden passing; but we also know that our memory of Tom’s quick wit and his generous smile will stay with us forever and comfort us in the days ahead.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Albert Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with Father Ignacy officiating.
All attendees will require photo ID and proof of vaccination or a negative Covid – 19 test within 72 hours of service.
