It is with deep sadness that the family of Carole Friese (nee Leigh), born January 4, 1945 in Saskatoon, announces her passing on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the age of 75. Carole worked for many years as a social worker in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia doing what she loved most - helping people. She was known for her empathy, compassion and great sense of humour.
Carole is survived by her husband, Scott; sons Kevin and David; daughter-in-law Sheri; grandsons, Benjamin and Willem; step-grand-children, Helena and Grayson; and many relatives and friends.
Subject to COVID-19 requirements, Carole will be honoured with a celebration of life to be held at the St. Albert United Church (date TBD) with a video recording to be made available online. Please email [email protected] for more information.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made in Carole’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
