1926 – 2020
With deep sorrow and much love we announce the passing of William Edward Gillespie, on June 27, 2020, at the age of 94 years.
William is survived by four children; Ted Gillespie (Louise), Patty Buttar (Ross), Micky Kusler (Darcy), and Brian Gillespie (Paulette); eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
William was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and William; sisters, Joan and Florence; as well as his loving wife of 68, Muriel (nee Gibson).
A Memorial Service will be held, but due to the COVID-19 restrictions, attendance at the service will be limited to Bill’s close personal friends and immediate family. If you would like to attend, please contact the family at least three days prior to the service at [email protected]. The funeral will also be live-streamed for those who wish to view it remotely. A link to the video stream will be set up on the Connelly-McKinley website on the day prior to the service.
