Mom was a kind, compassionate, intelligent, beautiful, happy, positive, amazing human being. She lived her life with dignity and class. She gave comfort, great advice and made you feel listened to and heard. All this with an incredible sense of humour. Mom always put family first and she will be dearly missed by so many.
An Angel has received her wings!
The family would like to thank the St. Albert EMS paramedics and the incredible nurses, doctors and support staff at the Misericordia and U of A Hospitals and Venta Care for all the wonderful care given to Mom. Also to the amazing ladies at the Sturgeon Hospital Adult Day Program where Mom made many friends and had many great laughs. And finally to all the AHS folks (SMC) who helped us help Mom during these trying but cherished times.
A special heartfelt thank you to Grace, Hermione and Daisy (Pat’s incredible in home caregivers).
Pat’s final wishes have been respected.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date so please stay tuned.
