1924 - 2020
Sadly, but with many happy memories, the family of Harold George Shillabeer announce his passing on January 6, 2020 at the age of 95.
Harold is survived by his wife of 73 years, Kathleen as well as his daughter, Diane (Gerald); son, Colin (Karen) and their families.
Born in Chudleigh, England, Harold served proudly in the Royal Navy during WWII, starting at the young age of 15. Later emigrating to Canada with our family in tow, Harold first settled in Ontario and relocated to St. Albert following retirement. He loved sports and was involved with the St. Albert Devils Women’s Soccer Team and served as the honorary coach of the Shillabeer / Lindholm Curling Team.
Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
