Our Saviour Jesus Christ has destroyed death and brings life and immortality to light through the Gospel.
Let us remember with thanksgiving what God has done through Larry.

Larry was  given  life  was given life by his Creator and was born on July 14,1948, the child of Lloyd and Dorothy who predeceased him, as well as sister Barbara, brother-in-law Alfredo Cruz, and daughter-in-law Wendy Lutz. On May 6, 1991 he publicly confessed his faith and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On May 19, 1979 he received the gift of a beloved companion in his spouse, Shirley, and she will miss him forever. Larry will also be forever missed by children Shelley (Bernard) Ulliac, Wendy Ross and Bradley (Trish) Lutz; grandchildren Ashton (Aaron), Joshua, Jordon (Emily), Emerald, Rebekah and Emma; great grandchildren Alyssa, Alacia and Axton. He also leaves to mourn: his siblings Beverly (John), Marilyn (Bob), Karen (Lynn), Michael (Karen); uncle Bill (Marg) Chapman, aunts Doreen Lackey and Lois Brown; nieces, nephews, cousins; and many friends. God blessed Larry’s life with many special people as he served God in his vocations at home, church, work and community. Larry was an avid photographer who enjoyed taking pictures, especially while traveling in the mountains and during family gatherings. Being an avid reader he was a great conversationalist, sharing information with friends and family. He enjoyed collecting and listening to all types of music, but especially Classic Rock.
Finally on July 16 after a three year courageous journey with ALS, God blessed with a holy death and took him home to rest in the arms of Jesus until the resurrection of the dead. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our father through Jesus Christ our Lord for our brother Larry.
The family would like to thank the caring staff and attending Doctors of Covenant Foyer Lacombe; ALS Clinic Doctors and staff; Doctor C. Strytveen; ALS Society; his kind homecare workers Toyin and Tesfit; and SASHA volunteers, Ralph, John, and Lavina.
