With profound sadness we announce the passing of Laura Mae Larsen on April 9, 2020 at the age of 79 years.
Much loved mother of Regeena (Kurt) Fine of Spokane, WA, Lisa (Glenn) Bangs of St. Albert, AB, and stepson, Bradley Larsen; proud grandmother of Nolan, Ethan, Joshua, Caleb, Ella, Haylea, Angelica and Kennedy.
Laura will also be forever remembered by her dear sister Marguerite Belair; sister-in-law, Brenda (Roland) Voghell; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and very dear friends.
Laura was predeceased by her husband Neil; sisters, Lucille and Madeleine; grandson, Garrett. Laura lived a rich and full life as a wonderful mother, devoted wife, amazing gramma, dear sister and friend. Her kind, generous, loving heart, warm and gentle words, will be forever missed by everyone who knew her. Throughout her life she loved cross- stitching, playing bridge, piano, gardening, reading, golfing and spending time with her family and friends.
Upon finishing her RCMP career, she spent many years travelling and discovering the world with her husband Neil. Laura enjoyed her many years at their summer retreat at Miquelon Lake where days were spent on the golf course. She was active with Friendship Force, COLD Club and other organizations.
Laura wanted to be surrounded by people that loved her and were loved by her following her passing. To honour that, the family has decided to postpone the Funeral Service until we can all be together.
Due to COVID Restrictions, a private visitation will be held.
We will miss her every day.
