May 23, 1921 – April 15, 2021
We are deeply saddened by the passing of our father and patriarch, Gene Lemiski. He left us just shy of his 100th birthday which he was looking forward to with great anticipation. He is survived by his daughter, Patricia; and his son, Steve; grandchildren Megan, Patrice and John Woida; son-in-law, Jack Woida, all of Oregon; as well as his sister, Liz Rawluk. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his loving wife, Anne; and his daughter, Christine Woida, of Oregon. Dad’s passing has left a huge void in all of us that will be hard to fill.
A private funeral service was held April 23 at St. Josaphat Cathedral, with celebration of Dad’s life at a later date due to COVID 19 restrictions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dad’s name to The Alberta Cancer Foundation or St. Josaphat Preservation Fund.
