Kathleen Maier passed away peacefully in St. Albert on Monday May 30th, 2022, at the age of 94 years.  Kathleen was born north of Grenfell, SK, April 11, 1928, then moved into the town of Grenfell. She married Otto in Grenfell and later moved to Regina, SK, and then settled in St. Albert in 1999.

Kathleen was predeceased by her husband, Otto in 2008; her parents, Jacob and Elizabeth Lowenberg; her siblings, Arthur (Julia), Albert (Evelyn), Rose (Adam) Kolodziej, and Evelyn (Lorne) Anderson; son-in-law, Donald Carter; brothers-in-law, Emile (Elsie), Albert (Nancy), Oscar (Lydia), and Alfred Maier.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Donald (Barbara), Sandra Carter, both of Vancouver B.C., Terry (Karen) of St. Albert, AB, Greg (Brenda) of Kelowna, BC; seven grandchildren, Lisa (Darrell) Justin, Ryan (Mary), Jennifer, Andrew, Lauren and Lindsay.  Four great grandchildren, Pandora, Charlie, Ruby, and Arabella.   Also survived by numerous cherished nieces and nephews as well as Ruth Maier, brother-in-law’s wife of Sudbury Ontario  

The funeral service for Kathleen has taken place. Graveside interment will take place in Grenfell, SK, on Saturday July 23, 2022.
