September 10, 1922 – October 10, 2019
After 97 faithful years, Mavis was called home by her Lord and Savior on October 10, 2019.
Mavis leaves to mourn Les (Marilyn), Dave, Ruth (Malcolm) Fraser; grandchildren, Brent, Quin (Dave), Cam (Davida), Dave, Candace (Kuba) and Gail; as well as dearest great-granddaughters, Akiera and Tegan and their mother, Jodi. Also left to mourn are sisters-in-law, Audrey Kingcott and Muriel Warkentine, along with many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert.
A very special thank you to the caregivers on Unit 5 of the Covenant Health Youville Home.
A Celebration of Mavis’s Life will be held Thursday, October 17 at 2:30 p.m. at Capilano Christian Assembly, 9333 – 50 Street NW, Edmonton. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta & NWT, 10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, AB T5H 4K1 or to a charity of your choice.
